Our starting XI tonight will be: Olejnik; Butterfield, Tillson, Brown, Woodman; McCready, Oakley, Oyeleke; Nicholls, Reid, Nichols.
Five starters from the East Fife game have retained their place tonight - Woodman, Tillson, McCready, Nicholls and Reid
Regrettably there's no sign of any teamsheets as yet, so there may be no opposition names on tonight's feed
Right on cue, the teamsheet is here - Arbroath's team is as follows:
Arbroath: Fleming, Verlaque, Lowdon, Munro, Hay, McWalter, Linn, Stewart, Hester, Gold, Watt.
Here come the teams - it'll be City to kick off, shooting from left to right as we're looking at it
A cross from Butterfield is just tipped away by goalkeeper Fleming - Nicholls was awaiting a tap-in at the far post
Reid nips in on a loose pass and nearly sets away a counter-attack - McCready then sprays a pass out to Nichols but a challenge comes in
Corner to City as Oyeleke and Reid make things difficult for the home defence down the right hand side
Woodman whips in an inswinger from the right and it's Brown that gets on the end of it. It's wide of target, however, and it's still 0-0
Big penalty shout for City as Nicholls goes own under a challegne from defender Munro - not given though
Nichols wins a free-kick 25 yards out as he draws a foul - McCready and Nicholls are over it
Just wide from McCready - lovely bending effort which went round the wall
You wouldn't know it's the first week of pre-season - lots of competitive edge to the play
Bobby Linn pops a shot off from the right-hand channel. Lots of power but just over
Important tackle from Brown. The ball was snaffled up in midfield by Linn and it needed a touch as he tried to find Stewart
Great save from Olejnik. Again the ball was conceded high and Linn drove goalwards - the Austrian paws around the post
And again Olejnik makes a great save! It was Munro that rose for the header and it was palmed around the upright
Corner conceded by Arbroath down the right after clever play from Nicholls
The ball is cleared - it falls to McCready, who fires through a crowd, but it's wide
Jamie Reid has a pop-shot from the best part of 35 yards - it was always rising and Fleming was untroubled
Important tackle from Lowdon for the hosts; Oakley had fizzed a ball to the feet of Nichols who took a tidy first touch
Terrific chance Exeter. Nicholls was found by the left boot of Nichols - it was a raking ball and the forward broke the offside trap...
... but goalkeeper Fleming got a leg to it as Nichols tried to round the goalkeeper. 0-0.
Still no goals as we approach the final minutes of the first period
Goalkeeper Olejnik comes off his line well to smother a through ball which had been played into the path of striker Gold
